Category: Tag:

CETC TBR-700A radar

General Description
The TBR-700A is a search and rescue radar transponder (SART) designed for use in the Global Maritime Safety System (GMDSS). This device helps rescue vessels efficiently locate objects in distress using radar, which significantly reduces the time of rescue operations, especially at night, in conditions of poor visibility or adverse weather conditions.

Equipment

  • TBR-700A SART Main Unit with built-in battery
  • Mounting hardware for mounting on a stick
  • Rack mounting hardware
  • User's Guide
  • Test Report Sheet

Functions
The TBR-700A SART operates in the 9-Gigahertz radio band and transmits signals in response to requests from the search and rescue vessel's radar. When receiving a signal from the radar, the device activates the generation of a response signal, which is displayed on the radar of the rescue vessel in the form of a line of 12 points, which allows you to accurately determine the location of an object in distress.
