Radar of the JMA-5300 batch is designed for heavy cargo ships. A new data processing system allows to use a wide range of new functions which were not available in radar of this class.
Display of the map and the radar.
Chart information and radar display are combined to provide total information. It shows tracks of your vessels as well as others. Waypoints are also displayed on the screen. It makes navigation much easier.
Target amplification function (TEF) TM
This exclusive JRC development allows to identify small and faint echoes better. Moreover, shoreline is detected clearer. Complex data processing helps to display small and large targets proportionally, that is, relative increase of small targets is bigger than large ones. TEF is available in 3 levels - x5, x9, x17.
ConstaviewTM function
All the information collected by the radar is stored in system's memory. For that reason when you switch one mode to another, for example mode " North-up" to "Down range", or when you switch the range, you immediately get a new information on the radar screen. Those targets which require special attention can easily be identified anew on the display.
ConstaviewTM feature has made a great contribution of the safety of navigation and management flexibility.

Management is logical and accurate because of buttons and analog keyboard control combination. Superfast processor helps to display actions immediately. A new batch of JMA 5300 radars allows the operator to control everything trough the screen.
Information on the screen
Simple and understandable menu, which is managed through keyboard and mouse, allows to interpret radar image at the first sight. Big screen shows an important digital information and radar image at the same time.
