Doppler log from JLN-740 / JLN-741 batch meets the IMO MSC.96 (72) standards, it is used for vessels weighting more than 300GT. Besides speed measurement accuracy, JLN-740 is equipped with bubble sensor that warns you when speed measurements might not be accurate due to the contact with air bubbles. A model with color LC-sensors for main and auxiliary displays is also available. It allows to view an important information and adjust the brightness of the display in one place.

Due to combination of digital signal processing, optimization of existing measurement methods and sensor accuracy water velocity is measured with an accuracy of 0,3 kOhm in all models of JLN-741 batch.
A long intractable problem with doppler systems of water velocity measurement was accuracy reduction caused by bubbles formation touching measuring device at the bottom of the ship. JLN-740 batch detects when air bubbles touch the sensor and, using patented JRC technology, warns you about reduction of measurement accuracy through the display. A visual inspection of the device has to be made to confirm the source of the problem. However, if air bubbles are detected on board it helps to avoid an unnecessary preventive maintenance.

There are two types of units: four-section and three-section versions.
1. The first one, consisting of 4 sections, is intended for big ships that require data exchange such as radar and ECDIS for navigation equipment.
2. The second one, consisting of 3 sections, is applicable for smaller ships. 4 combinations are available depending on essential usage.
